Mahabrata

Folklore story of Yudhistira at Nirvana’s gate, from the Legend of Mahabharata. The final scene of Mahabarata (Javanese folklore): Hero Yudhistira, the last survivor of the five Pandawa brothers, went to Nirvana mountain, accompanied by a stray dog. The gods asked him to leave the dog outside the gate of Nirvana, but he refused. It was a test of his kindness. The gods appreciated his wise decision and allowed both of them into Nirvana.
